Brand History…..

Gabor Nagy was born in Budapest, Hungary in 1953. He began learning the basics of jewellery at the age of 14, and in 1988 established his own atelier and shop, Gaboratory, in Venice Beach, USA.
He produced men's jewelry, which was still a minor product at the time, and his unique designs and items gained support from local bad bikers, rock musicians, and Hollywood stars, and Gabor's name became known around the world.
However, in 1999, Gabor Nagy suddenly died of heart failure.

Since then, Gaboratory has continued with his wife Maria Nagy, his friend and craftsman Peter, who was Gabor's most trusted friend, and his son Marlon, whom Gabor loved like his own child.
In addition, the company has inherited Gabor's attitude of stubbornly not outsourcing the production of silver items, and all processes are still carried out in-house.
